Rules.

Activity. We expect all characters to be active in the game. There should be at least one journal entry or post/log/thread by your character every week or two. We do activity checks about every two weeks. Hiatuses: We recognize that situations can arise in real life, so you might not be able to post—just let us know if you're going to be gone for a bit. Our character limit is three, but you can play more if your present characters are active.

Maturity. This game deals with mature situations, so we ask that all players be at least 18 years old.

God modding, power playing, ooc drama, etc. Don't do it. Each player controls their own characters. Work plots out with other players and don't assume that characters will react to something in a particular way, get hit by things, etc. If you have problems with each other, try to work them out, and just remember to be nice. Ask a mod if you need help.

Communities. The ic community for this game is

naturesnobility, where all your present day threads, logs, owls, etc. should go. The past/backstory community is

nobility_past, which you can use to play out pre-Hogwarts days, previous years, and related things. The ooc community for this game is

nobility_ooc. Entries in the ooc community will be friends locked to protect the privacy of members.

Slash. At Nature's Nobility, we're playing in a dark Alternate Universe, where canon personalities are at play. That having been said, characters whose sexual orientations in the books are evident should be played as such. For other characters, keep in mind that there is an oppressive regime in power, and the ultimate goal of Wizarding Society is to produce pure-blood, magical progeny, so it is likely that homosexuality is not commonplace, and largely kept under wraps. Slash is possible, but it is very likely that your character(s) would want to keep it secret ~~but that's not to say that there can't be loads of very public UST for all characters and behind-closed-doors escapades between characters whose sexualities are unresolved in canon~~.

Credit. Please don't forget to credit icons, graphics, etc, and place a disclaimer somewhere in your character's journal. Anything from the Harry Potter universe is the property of J.K. Rowling, Bloomsbury, Scholastic, EA Games, Warner Bros, et. al. No profit is being made from this game, and it is merely a roleplay game for fun and character development.
